Day 5. Woohoo Friday!!

Decided to be hiao and dress up. Just bought a beautiful necklace that I couldn't wait to don so my look was centered around it today!

The quirky collar necklace is from one98one, this cool local accessories line that is stocked at Threadbare & Squirrel (incidentally one of Emm's fave stores). The gaily coloured florals remind me of the distinctive Marimekko prints, which obviously I cannot afford.

It would be quite a waste to dress down and have the necklace lost among my t-shirt and jeans, so I dressed up and went full girly with a flowy mint green skirt ((:
Not for long though. Those who know me obviously are aware that I am not girly, so I had to 'destroy' my image with my tweed tigers and old-school bucket bag. Laughs.

  

I think the dress saved this look though, giving it a quirky offbeat vibe. Yes, there's something about asymmetrical lines that intrigue me. And that the dress has cute covert buttons running down the back.

Since Emm's shots have been so nifty, I wanted to add one such photo to my collection. As Emm would say, EPIC FAIL. The swirl around effect didn't quite appear as expected. Damn, no model I am.
