:: Of Pockets & Dresses ::

Day 7's agenda - In-laws and Smartkids Expo. In short, slacker day (:

I heart dresses with pockets! Not only are pockets practical (cue blackberry, tissues, bunch of keys), but I just like having somewhere to tuck my hands into. You never know what your hand gestures will give away... But that's another story for another time. Back to this tale. From my past few posts, you never would have guessed that I only started wearing dresses when my hubby & I started dating! That's like eight years ago, and since then I've amassed such a collection of dresses, skirts and the like. Amazing what love does, eh?

For my Sunday, I wore my Dolly Dress from Arty Lily with its gradating shades of denim grey and a peekaboo cutout at the back, topped with a pared down ash cap. 

My bright yellow loafers and sky blue bag added a much welcome pop of colour. (Cutesy bag from Emm! Don't you just lovvvvvve the bow?)

My lone accessory was my Ah Gong chain, which I had bought in memory of my granddad. My Ah Gong didn't have a moustache, top hat or smart suit - just that walking stick - but this granddad figure is so happy. Just how I'd like to remember him ((:
