Isn't this dress reminiscent of the retrolicious days back when? I can so imagine my mum wearing this style when she was younger ((: With my curls, me thinks I looked like I travelled back to those days too! Lol. As part of the yesteryear era, I put on my camel brown wide belt and a vintage chained timepiece.
To think that I used to shun long skirts. Now, I simply adore my collection of flouncy skirts! And to bring out the skirt, I slipped on my subtle pink wedges for that added oomph.
Not forgetting that this midi dress has my favourite polka dots as well. Be round, not square - that was my invite slogan for my polka dot themed party during my 21st birthday! My bro and I decorated loads of plain styrofoam balls with dotted designs and stringed them together with wire around the chalet. Must dig them out and share our artistic talents ((: Of course, everyone had to come dressed in at least one polka dotted piece too - including my parents! My dad wore his Nepalese cap with multi-coloured polka dots and my mum donned a bright orange bangle with white dots. Ahhhh, such fun!
