Day 24. So I jest. Each day has been more gloomy than the one preceding because of the terribly wet weather. Not to be outdone by the overcast clouds threatening to burst into tears every afternoon, I winged it and put on my best suit. Oh, and perhaps I should mention I had a couple of hotel recces to go for.

A pant suit is such a powerful symbol and I love how I feel when I don this ((: The only other time I have wore this in its entirety was when I had a briefing to Management. Makes me appear very professional, which I hope adds some points whenever I have to put it on! It's not a typical black suit because of the cropped jacket and the clasp-closure at the top, as opposed to a button down jacket. The detailing also gives the jacket more visual interest and feel.

The inspiration for this post is most definitely the bright, cheery top which pops against the stern black suit. The hue reminds me of lovely calla lilies and how my hubby used to surprise me with a bouquet ((: [No more flowers because I have imposed a severe flower ban from him to me] The 'bright' of this look also stemmed from my gorgeous bag with its muted gold embellishments and accessories. One of my treasured gifts from my family ((:
