Hence decided to pose with my sunshine doll, also known as a Teru Teru Bōzu (晴天娃娃). In short, this is kind of an amulet for good weather, read more on the history of the doll here. I got this particular doll, actually a piggy bank, after watching Jay Chou's 周杰伦 Secret (不能说的秘密) and fell in love with the Teru Teru Bōzu song. Of course, it was penned by Jay Chou as well. An actual cloth sunshine doll is hung up at my home window everyday - gifted by my bro who won it from a game machine in Taiwan ((:
