This is what I dub my Snow White dress because of the striking similarities in the fitted blue top and the full yellow skirt! ((: Check out the instantly recognisable Disney-version of Snow White below - albeit my outfit is the modern version of the Snow White.
Coincidentally, I've also been hearing all the hype about the "Mirror Mirror" (in cinemas now) and "Snow White and the Huntsmen" (out a couple of months later). The former looks like a Alice In Wonderland adaption with its bold, striking colours while the latter is obviously a darker version of the tale with its gritty characters and scenes. My my, I can't remember the last time I watched a movie... Oh! It was the final installment of the Harry Potter series! Triple date with the hubby, my sis, my bro and their partners. Cool! And also wayyyyyy long time ago.
Anyway, before I stray too far from the path ~ and into the Woods and out of the Woods, and home before dawn! ~ here are the rest of my shots:
Slouching into my big fat pockets! Like.
The gorgeous belt (which comes with the dress) and really gives it character, me thinks. The dress is rather plain without it. I love that it's brown with gold buckles and has a huge bow. Love++
Keeping in character as Snow White, I paired a few accessories to give just that slight tinge of red. The simple charm bracelet is from my bff and has a red shoe and baby pram for Bielet (gift just after Bielet was born), which matches really well with my lips studs with the teensy blinged bows.
These shots were taken at 4 Seasons along Joo Chiat Road, where my colleagues and I stopped by for some belated tea after the discussion.
My glass of Ribena Lemon, which was ginormous! (It was served filled to the brim, but I was thirsty and sipped a lot of sips, before remembering to take a shot. Oops.) The snacks I bought from the nearby Peranakan store Kim Choo are in the background too. Yummmmm!
Had our starter of 4S shaved ice (with mango, green apple, strawberries and red beans). We later piled on a scoop of ice-cream, which I didn't fancy - nor the red beans, although I'm okay with them individually. In fact, I had a red bean bun for today's brekkie!
We finished off our tea with mouthwatering and damn super delicious beer battered mushrooms and fried chee cheong fun with XO sauce. Omgggg I'm so hungry looking at these pictures.
I am going to sleep now so I do not have to eat supper. Goodbye.
