Day 6. To the museum we go!

At least that was the plan. We got to the ArtScience Museum, all hyped up to sink our teeth into the much anticipated Titanic and Andy Warhol exhibitions (the deal of $25 for a dual entry pass to the exhibitions was too good to pass up!) 

And we were greeted by this scene.

We had to abort the museum plan because we already had dinner plans for my sis's birthday celebration at Casserole, Sentosa. Mega Sadness.

Since we were going to MBS, I had chosen my OTT long tee from Lanvin for H&M to match the opulence and glitz of the destination. Ribbons, sequins of varying types and sizes, tulle ~ need I say more?

(Excuse my Havaianas, as I had forgotten to change into my flats after leaving the driver's seat. Oops)

The above pic probably isn't the best one to bring across my point on luxury as the gigantic hotdog is looking worse for wear. Nevertheless I thought it was pretty hilarious so got the hubby to take a photo of me here - this was at the Underwater World carpark. Random right?! And it's the only pic of me toting my oversized bag. I love zao lor bags as they can carry everything, and I do lug around a lot these days (especially on weekends because of Bielet). Maybe I should do a post on what I have in my bag one day. Thinks.

Back to the outfit for now. Here's a closeup on the detailing -

Ribbon and tulle collar, harmoniously paired with the peekaboo meshed 'stockings' and sequins of the 'legs'

Cut to the end of the 'legs' and all bling breaks loose! Huge black bows adorn the 'ankles' and the 'heels' are made up of round silver beads, sequins and a lone round clear jewel. Mega OTT!

Love the tulle on the collar, especially, because it went well with what Bielet wore too. Bielet, is the moniker I've just created for my precious baby girl ((((((: You know, just like Piglet. Laughs!

This is how I spend my weekends. With hubby and Bielet *beams* and I wish I could do that every single day.
